A quick and easy sweet snack mix combining toasted marshmallows, chocolate chips, graham crackers, nuts, and raisins for a nostalgic campfire flavor without the fire.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (240g) graham crackers, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup (50g) mini marshmallows, toasted lightly (optional)
  • 1 cup (170g) chocolate chips or chunks (mix of milk and dark chocolate recommended)
  • 1/2 cup (75g) golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup (70g) roasted peanuts or almonds, chopped coarsely
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1g) cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Break about 2 cups (240g) of graham crackers into bite-sized pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Toast 1 cup (50g) of mini marshmallows on a baking sheet under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden and puffed, then let cool. (Optional step)
  3. Add 1 cup (170g) of chocolate chips or chunks to the bowl.
  4. Mix in 1/2 cup (70g) chopped roasted peanuts or almonds and 1/2 cup (75g) golden raisins gently to combine without crushing the crackers or marshmallows.
  5. Drizzle 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey or maple syrup over the mix and sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon (1g) cinnamon if using. Toss lightly but thoroughly.
  6. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.

Notes

Do not over-toast marshmallows to avoid bitterness. Use gentle folding to keep graham crackers intact. Store in airtight container with parchment paper to keep crackers crisp. For vegan version, use dairy-free chocolate chips and vegan marshmallows.
