These quick s’mores crescent rolls are the campfire classic you love, made inside your kitchen in under 15 minutes. No fire pit required, no sticky marshmallow sticks to clean, and definitely no mosquitoes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional, for cinnamon-sugar topping)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for cinnamon-sugar topping)
  • Extra chocolate chips for topping (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
  • Crushed graham crackers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it along the pre-cut perforated lines into 8 triangles. If using a seamless sheet, cut into 8 equal triangles.
  3. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips onto the wide end of each triangle, covering about two-thirds of the triangle.
  4. Add about 2 tablespoons of mini marshmallows on top of the chocolate chips.
  5. Starting at the wide end, roll up each triangle toward the pointed tip, tucking the filling inside. Pinch the pointed tip gently to seal.
  6. Place each rolled crescent on the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down, leaving about 2 inches of space between each one.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter. If using cinnamon-sugar mixture, sprinkle it over the buttered tops now.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown and marshmallows are bubbly and toasted.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 2 to 3 minutes.
  10. Transfer to a cooling rack or serving plate. Add optional toppings (crushed graham crackers, powdered sugar, extra chocolate chips) while still warm. Serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t overfill the dough to prevent bursting. Keep dough cold until ready to use. For extra toasty marshmallows, broil for 30-45 seconds after baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in microwave for 10-15 seconds or in a 350°F oven for 3-5 minutes.
