These Easy Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Roll-Ups are creamy, smoky, and a little tangy, perfect for a quick appetizer that requires no cooking. They come together in under 10 minutes and are always the first to disappear at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 large flour tortillas (8-inch)
  • 8 ounces thinly sliced smoked salmon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit out for about 20 minutes, or microwave for 10 seconds at 50% power.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, fresh lemon juice, and everything bagel seasoning. Stir until smooth. Fold in capers if using. Add a pinch of black pepper if desired.
  3. Lay one tortilla flat on a cutting board. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture evenly across the entire surface, going all the way to the edges.
  4. Arrange about 2 ounces of smoked salmon slices evenly over the cream cheese, covering about 80% of the tortilla.
  5. Starting at one edge, roll the tortilla tightly into a log. Press gently to seal the seam. For extra-tight rolls, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes before slicing.
  6. Using a sharp knife, trim off the very ends of the log (about ¼ inch from each side). Slice the remaining log into 1-inch rounds. Wipe the knife clean between cuts for neat slices.
  7. Arrange the roll-ups on a serving platter, cut side up. Garnish with fresh dill and extra capers if desired. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours.

Notes

Room temperature cream cheese is essential for easy spreading. For cleaner slices, chill the rolled logs for 15-20 minutes before slicing. Wipe the knife between cuts for neat presentation. The roll-ups can be assembled as logs up to 24 hours in advance and sliced just before serving.
