A cozy, creamy latte that tastes just like cheesecake in a mug. Made with simple ingredients like cream cheese, raspberry jam, and espresso, this easy drink comes together in under 10 minutes for a perfect rainy day treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 shot espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee)
  • 1 cup whole milk (or milk of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry jam (seedless preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • Whipped cream, crushed graham crackers, and fresh raspberries (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Pull your espresso shot (or brew strong coffee) and set aside.
  2. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the milk and softened cream cheese. Whisk constantly until smooth and steaming, about 2-3 minutes. Do not let it boil.
  4. Stir in the raspberry jam and vanilla extract. Whisk until the jam is fully dissolved and the mixture is a uniform pale pink. Add honey or maple syrup if desired.
  5. Optional: Froth the milk mixture using a milk frother for 15-20 seconds until light and foamy. Alternatively, whisk vigorously by hand.
  6. Pour the espresso into a mug. Slowly pour the raspberry cheesecake milk mixture over the espresso. Stir gently to combine or leave layered.
  7. Top with whipped cream, crushed graham crackers, and a fresh raspberry if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Let cream cheese soften at room temperature for at least 10 minutes to avoid lumps. Whisk constantly while heating. For a dairy-free version, use oat milk and dairy-free cream cheese. For an iced version, cool the milk mixture and pour over ice. The milk mixture can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheated gently.
