A creamy, fruity, and floral twist on the classic mudslide cocktail featuring cherry liqueur and rose syrup for a smooth, indulgent drink perfect for cozy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Cherry Liqueur (e.g., Luxardo or Cherry Heering)
  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) Rose Syrup (or homemade rose syrup or elderflower syrup as substitute)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Irish Cream Liqueur (e.g., Baileys)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Vodka
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Chocolate Liqueur (e.g., Godiva)
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Heavy Cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
  • Ice Cubes
  • Fresh Cherries or Maraschino Cherries for garnish (optional)
  • Edible rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill your serving glass in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 oz cherry liqueur, 0.5 oz rose syrup, 1 oz Irish cream liqueur, 1 oz vodka, and 1 oz chocolate liqueur.
  3. Add 2 oz heavy cream and fill the shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  4. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well combined, frothy, and chilled.
  5. Remove the glass from the freezer and strain the cocktail into it using a fine strainer to avoid ice chips.
  6. Garnish with a fresh cherry or maraschino cherry on a cocktail pick and optionally sprinkle edible rose petals.

Notes

Use fresh, cold heavy cream for best silky texture. Shake vigorously rather than stir to achieve frothy creaminess. Adjust sweetness by varying rose syrup or cherry liqueur amounts. For dairy-free, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and use a dairy-free Irish cream alternative. Chill glass beforehand for better drinking experience. Avoid over-dilution by using plenty of ice and serving immediately.
