Creamsicle Dirty Soda: Easy 3-Ingredient Recipe

creamsicle dirty soda - featured image

A refreshing, nostalgic drink that tastes like a creamsicle in a glass, made with just orange soda, vanilla syrup, and heavy cream. Ready in 2 minutes, it’s the perfect summer treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz orange soda (e.g., Fanta or Crush)
  • 12 tablespoons vanilla syrup (store-bought or homemade)
  • 23 tablespoons heavy cream
  • Ice (optional but recommended)

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice to about ¾ full.
  2. Pour 1 tablespoon of vanilla syrup over the ice. Add more to taste (up to 2 tablespoons).
  3. Slowly pour the orange soda down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
  4. Pour the heavy cream slowly over the back of a spoon held just above the soda surface to create a floating creamy layer.
  5. Stir gently once or twice if desired, or leave layered. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use ice-cold ingredients for best results. Warm cream will sink instead of floating. If making multiple servings, set up a drink station and let guests build their own to keep carbonation fresh. For a dairy-free version, use full-fat coconut cream. For a boozy version, add a shot of vanilla vodka or orange liqueur.
